FB REMOTE I/O - ZONE 1
FB Remote I/O stations interface field devices with a control system. Communication between the control system and the Remote I/O system is based on standard, open bus protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Fieldbus Foundation ....)
FB Systems are designed to be installed in Zone 1. All modules are plug-in type and may be installed or changed online without Hot Work Permit (also Power- and COM-unit !)
A large spectrum of I/O modules is available for Ex-i and Ex-e Field connection. Depending upon the application, high-availability single-channel or cost effective multi-channel I/O modules can be used.
